I had a fantastic stay at this luxury cottage. It was clean and beautifully decorated with modern touches. Everything I needed for a comfortable break was provided - it truly felt like a home away from home. I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh milk, grapes, tea, coffee, sugar. The owner, Addy, was friendly and checked in to make sure everything was okay. The location was perfect for my visit to a nearby attraction, Beamish, which was only 3 miles away. I will definitely be returning for another stay.
No negatives from this place.

The apartment is fitted with a fully equipped kitchen, which was a game-changer for me as I love cooking my own meals. The bedroom was cozy and the bed linen and towels were super soft. The flat-screen TV made watching movies in the evenings an absolute delight. Plus, the patio with garden views was the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of coffee.
I personally found the dining area a bit small, but hey, that's just me. Others might still find it just right.

The cottage was well-planned and spotless, with lovely touches like fresh milk and a bowl of fruit provided. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating, even offering a later checkout. The WiFi was good, and the heating was effective. The location was convenient, with bus routes nearby.
The WiFi was a bit temperamental on our second night, possibly due to the rural location or other guests staying nearby. The sofa was a bit too low for comfort, and a bigger coffee table would have been nice.
